Description

The Lactation and Changing Space includes

• A comfortable chair
• Small table/desk
• Electrical outlets
• White noise machine
• Baby changing table
• Baby toys (to remain in the room)

 

Room Use Guidelines

• The room is intended for single-occupancy use, unless the user has a child or children with them.
• Reservations may be made online or at the Circulation Desk. 
• Room can be used for a reasonable amount of time to take care of lactation and changing needs only.
  • While multiple reservations can be made, please be mindful of others also needing to use the space.
• The room is equipped with a lockable door and window coverings for privacy.
  • Please make sure to lock the door to prevent people from coming into the room during use.
• Users are responsible for bringing their own breast pumps, containers and storage coolers.
• Users must clean up after themselves and wipe down all surfaces before leaving.
  • Sanitizing wipes and a trashcan are provided for user convenience. 
    • Please report any maintenance or supply issues to library staff immediately.
  • Please pickup any toys used before exiting the space.
• Personal items should not be left in the room for any reason; the library is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
